Great British fare under the railway arches at Beagle in Hoxton

Some of my favourite places in East London have made their homes under railway arches, the latest addition in the arches under Hoxton station, Beagle, has continued the theme.

Beagle is a new bar and restaurant serving seasonal British fare accompanied by a drinks list I could have happily sloshed through (had I not visited on a Tuesday evening). The ambience is warm and buzzy and the staff seem to really care about what they do. Grab yourself a seat facing the kitchen so you can watch your meal being created.

Next time I’m going to go solely to the bar and work myself through more of the cocktails….my choice of Yorkshire Rhubarb only whet my appetite for more.
